Abstract:
Reproduction, with annotation and introduction, of three Elizabethan maps of London: the so-called 'Agas' woodcut of c 1570; the two surviving plates of the 'Copperplate' map of c 1557; and Braun and Hogenberg's map which appears to be a reduced copy of the Copperplate Map. Used with care they can be helpful.
