Festival of British Archaeology 2010: Saturday 17th July to Sunday 1st August

Welcome to the Festival of British Archaeology, the annual extravaganza of heritage events coordinated by the Council for British Archaeology.

Each year the Festival showcases the very best of British archaeology, by presenting hundreds of special events organised and held by museums, local societies, national and countryside parks, universities, and heritage organisations across the UK.

Call for Nominations 2010

BAA Logo Aimed at identifying the most impressive, innovative and imaginative archaeological endeavours of the past two years, the British Archaeological Awards are a showcase for the best in British archaeology. The awards ceremony will form the opening event of the Festival of British Archaeology, and will be held on 19 July 2010 at the British Museum.
